This message is longer than usual, but a very important one.
Most of you know that our social calendar runs from September to June with a summer break.
We are not having the Knit and Stitch Social on the first Saturday of June because it’s too close to the WWKIP Day event being organised by @craftcinemadublin. They are doing a wonderful job and we support their efforts.
AND because September will be an extremely busy month for both of us, the start of the new series of monthly Knit and Stitch Socials will begin the first Saturday of October.
So, the end of year Knit and Stitch Social will be held on Saturday 27th June at La Caverna Restaurant with three very special guests.
Lisa and Jacqui from @thisisknit and Jenny from @townhouseyarns will be joining us for the afternoon to celebrate 20 years of crafting, love of yarn and socialising.
From the days of the little shop in Blackrock to their current location in Powerscourt, @thisisknit has become Ireland’s premier shop for those who love yarn. People from all over the world have visited @thisisknit and always receive a warm welcome from Lisa, Jacqui, Jenny and all the lovely staff! This is an opportunity to show gratitude and say a huge thank you for all they have done.
Diane is celebrating 20 years in Ireland this year and has been active all those years especially in organising weekly/monthly and one-off social get togethers at Accents, Irish Film Institute, Knitting and Stitching Show, La Caverna, The Grafton, The Hopsack and Woollinn to name some.
We are planning an amazing day on Saturday 27th June. There will be lots of chatter, laughs, hugs and tears. You don’t want to miss this. It will be a Social you won’t forget.
Once again, you only pay the cost of your meal, gratuity and sum up fee.
Tickets are €22.50, includes one course meal, gratuityand Sum Up fee.
